1. About Us
Darkline Tints is a sole trader business providing mobile vehicle window tinting services across Manchester and surrounding areas.

2. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed once agreed in writing via email, message, or confirmed through our booking system.
By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
3. Booking Deposits
A booking deposit may be required to secure an appointment.
The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and will be deducted from the final invoice balance.
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 24 hours of the agreed booking time.
If reasonable notice is provided, deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment date at the discretion of Darkline Tints.
Failure to attend a confirmed booking without notice may result in the deposit being retained.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Darkline Tints is not VAT registered.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed prior to installation.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the agreed booking time may incur a cancellation fee.
As a mobile service, installations are subject to suitable weather and working conditions. If conditions are unsuitable, the booking may be rescheduled.
6. Access & Working Conditions
Customers must ensure:
The vehicle is clean and accessible
Adequate working space is available
Safe and suitable conditions are provided
If conditions are unsuitable or unsafe, installation may be postponed.
7. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
Darkline Tints is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage to glass, trim, seals, or electrical components
Issues arising from previously installed film
Faults related to ageing or defective window mechanisms
Any concerns identified prior to installation will be discussed with the customer.
8. Installation Location
Customers must provide a safe and suitable working area with adequate space and shelter where possible. Darkline Tints reserves the right to reschedule work if conditions are deemed unsuitable.
9. Legal Compliance
Front window tinting is carried out in accordance with UK legal requirements.
Customers requesting specifications outside of legal limits are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
10. Installation & Curing
After installation:
Windows should not be operated for the advised curing period
Minor water bubbles may be visible during curing
Full curing time may vary depending on weather conditions
These are normal aspects of the installation process.
While every effort is made to provide a clean and controlled working environment, minor dust particles, small specks, or slight imperfections may occasionally be visible following installation.
Such minor imperfections are considered normal within accepted industry standards and do not affect the performance, durability, or longevity of the film.
Minor imperfections within normal industry tolerance will not be considered installation defects.
If any significant issue is identified, customers must contact Darkline Tints within 7 days of installation so it can be assessed
11. Warranty
Warranty covers installation defects only.
Warranty does not cover:
Physical damage
Scratches
Misuse
Interference after installation
Accidental damage
Warranty terms may vary depending on film type.
12. Limitation of Liability
Darkline Tints shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of services provided.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.|
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
